SiriusXM Set To Launch SEC, Pac-12 Stations Next Week

SiriusXM’s stations dedicated to the SEC and Pac-12 will launch on Monday, in time to carry live telecasts for each conference’s men’s basketball tournament. The channels first were announced last fall, but SiriusXM is planning to announce their programming lineups today. Both channels will have games, coach’s shows, press conferences and feature a lot of conference personalities.

The SEC channel will feature a weekday morning show (7:00-10:00am ET) hosted by Peter Burns and former NFLer Marcus Spears called “SEC This Morning” and an afternoon drive time show (3:00-6:00pm) hosted by Chris Childers called “SEC Today.” It will replay SEC Net’s “The Paul Finebaum Show” from 6:00-10:00pm. “Finebaum” will still be carried live on the ESPN Xtra SiriusXM channel. Other hosts will include for former Auburn football coach Gene Chizik, former NFLers Aaron Murray and Matt Stinchcomb and broadcasters Doug Bell and Braden Gail

On the Pac-12 channel, Guy Haberman and former NFLer Ryan Leaf will host “Pac-12 This Morning” (7:00-10:00am PT), with Kate Scott and former Utah TE Sean O’Connell alternating as hosts for “Pac-12 Today” (3:00-6:00pm) alongside former NFLer Geoff Schwartz. Other on-air talent will include former UCLA basketball player Sean Farnham, former NFLers Charles Arbuckle, Erik Coleman and Kirk Morrison and broadcasters Roxy Bernstein, Jill Savage and Mike Yam. Former Arizona State basketball coach Bill Frieder and former NBAer Eddie House will be on air next week to discuss the men’s basketball tournament.

SiriusXM is not ready to release the programming lineup for its ACC channel, but host Mark Packer today tweeted, "Beginning Monday I’ll be co-hosting 'ACC in the AM' with @WesDurham. It’s a daily show (7-10am) on Channel 371. I’ll continue to host 'OffCampus' as well."
