The Knoxville NEWS SENTINEL goes with, "Cost Of University Of Tennessee Coach Search Likely Will Be Millions." When UT hired Jeremy Pruitt last Thursday, fans let out a "collective sigh of relief." But the "turmoil" of the football coaching search "will have lingering effects, including millions of dollars in potential buyout and legal costs."

The Tacoma NEWS TRIBUNE wrote under the header, "NHL In Seattle? Oh Baby, Bring It On." The $660M KeyArena renovation "essentially guaranteed that Seattle will be home to a major professional hockey league team for the first time since 1924."
