NFL Sees Multiple Social Protests Outside Stadiums Ahead Of Week 11

Three buses of protesters yesterday ahead of Cardinals-Texans "stood across the street from NRG Stadium" and "called for Texans Owner Bob McNair to step down --- or to at least make good on his commitment of making meaningful progress toward social issues that prompted NFL players to protest during the national anthem" (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 11/20).

Meanwhile, "hundreds of people rallied outside of AT&T Stadium" last night ahead of Eagles-Cowboys on "SNF" to "show solidarity" with protesting NFLers, according to the Texas Organizing Project's release. Attendees were "wearing all black" as they took a knee to support the players (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 11/20).
