NBC Renewing Deal To Televise Belmont Stakes Through '20

NBC Sports Group today is expected to announce a TV rights deal with NYRA to continue carrying the Belmont Stakes "through at least 2020." Financial details were not disclosed. NBC "has been seeking to secure the long-term rights to all three Triple Crown races." The net in '14 signed a 10-year deal to carry the Kentucky Derby through '25. Only the Preakness Stakes "remains to be signed to a long-term renewal" (N.Y. TIMES, 6/3).
