Pharrell Curates Song Selection For "NBA 2K15" Video Game
2K Sports today announced that musician/producer Pharrell will choose 27 tracks for the soundtrack to its "NBA 2K15" video game. He becomes the second performer to curate songs for the game franchise, which Jay Z did for "NBA 2K13." Pharrell in a statement said that he "wanted to create an 'eclectic mix' of songs." Three of his own songs are on the list, and other artists include Lauryn Hill, OneRepublic, Snoop Dogg, Lorde, A Tribe Called Quest, Missy Elliott, No Doubt and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (AP, 8/12).
