NHL Kings Agree To Five-Year Radio Deal With L.A.'s KABC-AM

The NHL Kings today will announce a new five-year radio deal that makes KABC-AM the team's new flagship station. The Kings "will be the only sports property on KABC, and longtime team broadcasters Nick Nickson and Daryl Evans will continue in their positions." Kings COO Kelly Cheeseman said that the team "previously 'basically paid' to be on radio and that agreements of the past were typically of a year-to-year nature." The team's previous radio home was KEIB-AM (L.A. TIMES, 7/21).
