Hockey Canada President & COO Nicholson Expected To Step Down
Hockey Canada President & CEO Bob Nicholson today "will announce he's stepping down" after 15 years at his position. He has been involved with the organization since '90 (CP, 4/3). With Canada coming off back-to-back Olympic gold medals, if the "plan is to leave while on top" of the int'l game, "he will do so." Nicholson has been "linked in the past to a possible front-office position" with the Flames and he would "likely receive overtures from several NHL teams if he was ready to make the jump" (GLOBE & MAIL, 4/4).
