More than 600 people gathered last night at Gampel Pavilion to pay tribute to former UConn men’s basketball coach Jim Calhoun. The school announced that “the road running past Gampel Pavilion, Stadium Drive, would be renamed ‘Jim Calhoun Way’” (HARTFORD COURANT, 9/23).
