Raiders, Buccaneers Sell Out Home Openers, Avoid Blackouts

The Raiders last night announced that their home opener Sunday against the Jaguars "has sold out and will be televised locally." The team "reduced the seating capacity" for football games at O.co Coliseum by "almost 10,000 this offseason." The Raiders have now sold out 16 of their past 17 regular-season home games, dating to the start of the '11 season (MERCURYNEWS.com, 9/12).

The Buccaneers announced that Sunday's home opener against the Saints has reached the NFL's sellout threshold and will air locally on WTVT-Fox (Buccaneers).
