USA Today Media Group Launches "The Q" NFL Game Analysis Site

USA Today Sports Media Group yesterday launched "The Q," a mobile-focused platform delivering curated real-time news and analysis of NFL games. Located online at q.usatoday.com, "The Q" is based in part on the technology of Quickish, the company acquired by USA Today Sports Media Group last year. Quickish founder Dan Shanoff is involved in the new effort along with former Baltimore Sun writer Chris Korman, former Yahoo Sports writer Maggie Hendricks, and former ESPN Insider contributor Brent Sobleski. Other USA Today NFL writers will also supply content to the new effort.

"The Q," designed as a second-screen companion to televised NFL games, will eventually be expanded to other sports and major events such as the Olympics and World Cup. "The Q" is the second major new content product to be created this year by the USA Today Sports Media Group following the successful social media-oriented site For The Win.
