PGA Of America Hosting Event To Boost Women's Interest In Golf

The PGA of America today is holding a Beyond the Green event at Oak Hill Country Club, part of a series of initiatives to "increase women's interest in golf." Attendees will represent industries including financial, not-for-profit, sports, health, pharmaceutical and journalism. They will get a behind-the-scenes look at the PGA Championship with tours of the clubhouse, merchandise tent and Golf Channel broadcast booth. Attendees also will participate in networking sessions, golf clinics, and "panel discussions with women leaders in various industries" (ROCHESTER DEMOCRAT & CHRONICLE, 8/2).
