Patriots, 49ers, Broncos Scheduled For Most Primetime Games In '13

The NFL last night released its '13 regular-season schedule, in which the Patriots, 49ers and Broncos are "scheduled to play in prime time five times." The Steelers, Packers, Falcons, Redskins and Seahawks will play in four primetime games. The Seahawks, 49ers, Bears, Falcons, Redskins, Dolphins and Chargers each will make two appearances on "MNF" (SEATTLE TIMES, 4/19). SI.com's Don Banks offers a list of 17 games to circle on the calendar (SI.om. 4/18).

Eagles-Redskins is the first "MNF" game, and the N.Y. TIMES' Judy Battista writes the NFL is "clearly hoping" that Redskins QB Robert Griffin III is "recovered from the knee injury" (N.Y. TIMES, 4/19).

The Broncos-Giants "Manning Bowl" is scheduled for an afternoon start on Sunday, Sept. 15, and this marks the first time Eli and Peyton's teams "are not meeting in prime time" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 4/19).
