Concussions, Player Safety Are Dominant Issues At NFL Meetings
Concussions are "dominating the conversation" at the NFL Owners Meetings in Arizona, with owners expected to vote today or tomorrow on "yet another rule change aimed at reducing concussions." The rule would make it illegal for players to "deliver a blow with the crown of the helmet outside the tackle box." The owners today will be updated on the status of concussion-injury litigation filed by more than 4,200 former players (PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS, 3/19).
