Augusta National Chair Billy Payne today could announce changes to entry criteria for The Masters, specifically "whether PGA Tour winners in the fall will be invited" (AP, 2/26).

The title sponsorship deal between the U.K.'s Football League and npower "will not be renewed when the contract expires at the end of the season." The energy company replaced Coca-Cola in '10 (PA, 2/26).

A bill filed yesterday in the Florida state legislature would enable Daytona Int'l Speedway to receive more than $60M in sales tax rebates over 30 years "after the renovation is complete" on the track's frontstretch grandstands (Daytona Beach NEWS-JOURNAL, 2/27).

A state review panel ruled that the University System of Maryland Board of Regents violated the state's open meetings laws "when it met in closed session to discuss" UM's move from the ACC to the Big Ten. The ruling "carries no penalty" (Baltimore SUN, 2/27).
