Laugh Track....If At First You Don't Succeed

During his monologue, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel aired a video from a basketball game in Belgium and Kimmel said, "I can sense your excitement already.” In the video, a player misses a free throw and the opposing team rebounds the ball and inexlicably shoots at his own basket and misses three times before one of his teammates comes over and blocks his shot. Kimmel: “I don't know if those are Belgian rules basketball or I don't know. All I know is I would like to see him in a Clippers uniform immediately” (“Jimmy Kimmel Live,” ABC, 11/15).

NBC’s Jay Leno: “I tell you, Rickey, the economy is not good. It's not good at all. … The stock market is going down faster than a general's biographer. It is terrible out there. … The economy is so bad, on the way to work I saw Phil Jackson holding a sign, ‘Will coach for food.’ That's how bad” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 11/15).
