NHL, NHLPA Have No Talks Planned After Negotiations Halted Sunday
The NHL and NHLPA have not engaged in formal negotiations since collective bargaining talks were halted on Sunday, and NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said it is up to the union to make the next move. Asked last night what it would take for the league to return to the table, Daly said, "We're done making proposals. We'll see what they want to do." As of Wednesday morning, no talks between the two sides had been planned.
