Sauber's Monisha Kaltenborn Becomes F1's First Female Team Principal
Monisha Kaltenborn has taken over for Peter Sauber at the Sauber F1 team, making her "Formula One's first female team principal." Kaltenborn "already held the role" of CEO and "will immediately take on the additional responsibilities" at this weekend's Korean Grand Prix. Sauber will remain President of the BOD "for all Sauber companies and remain responsible for the group's strategic direction." Sauber in a statement said, "We decided a long time ago that Monisha would take over from me, but we left the timing open" (PA, 10/11).
