ManU Unveils Home Jersey, Fourth Different Design In As Many Years

Manchester United has unveiled the team's new jersey for next season, departing from the "current 80s inspired kit after just one year to go for a more simplistic design featuring a plain red shirt with a black and white collar." The new jersey, manufactured by Nike, is the team's "fourth different home design in as many years." The jerseys will be released June 3 and will retail for US$72, but fans can have the lettering "champions" and No. 19 on the back in gold for an extra US$16. ManU this season finished atop the EPL table, the team's 19th league title (MAILONLINE.co.uk, 5/24).

Meanwhile, Arsenal today announced a preseason tour in Malaysia and China in July. The EPL club will play two games, "the first in Kuala Lumpur before moving to the Chinese city of Hangzhou." The team will play a Malaysian team in Bukit Jalil Stadium and Chinese Super League team Hangzhou GreenTown at Meihu Sports Center (TELEGRAPH.co.uk, 5/24).
