In Tampa, Eduardo Encina reports WWE will "produce its prime-time programs," "Monday Night Raw" and "Friday Night SmackDown," as well as pay-per-view events, from Tropicana Field starting with the Dec. 11 broadcast of "SmackDown." The residency, which "will help the Rays replace some of their lost non-baseball revenue," will last until the next MLB season begins in the spring (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 11/20). 

COMING SOON TO TEMPE: COLLEGE HOCKEY NEWS' Greg Cameron noted the Arizona Board of Regents on Thursday "approved Arizona State’s plan" for a new 5,000-seat, $115M multi-purpose arena which will serve as the "hockey program’s on-campus home." Construction will start in January, with "full completion projected" for December '22. However, "operational completion is on track" for August '22 (COLLEGEHOCKEYNEWS.com, 11/19).
