Dubs Draft Room gives fans an interactive platform with the ability to customize contentWARRIORS
The Warriors will host what they are calling a first-of-its-kind second-screen experience for next week’s NBA Draft. The Dubs Draft Room, presented by Chase, is a virtual draft party that gives fans an interactive platform with the ability to customize the content. The team's initial concept planning for the Draft Room began in May. The Dubs Draft Room will be hosted by Warriors on-air personalities Tim Roye and Kelenna Azubuike and available to Bay Area fans only. Among the customizable experiences are watching live updates from Roye and Azubuike, as well as profiles of draft prospects. It also will feature interviews with Basketball HOFer Chris Mullen, former NBAers Mitch Richmond and Jason Richardson, Warriors F Eric Paschall, G Jordan Poole and WNBA Sparks F Candace Parker. Other real-time elements include polls, Warriors trivia with prizes, a sweepstakes and chat functionality with other fans. Fans are asked to RSVP, after which they will receive an email link to access the Draft Room, which begins at 3:30pm PT next Wednesday. Chase is also sponsoring the VIP Dubs Draft Room After Party and offering exclusive access to the bank’s Sapphire cardmembers. The after party will include interviews with Warriors players and special access to team merchandise. The Warriors have three picks in the Nov. 18 draft, including the second overall.
