Washington Football Team coach RON RIVERA today "completed his cancer treatment at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute, ringing the bell just two months after being diagnosed with squammous cell carcinoma." Rivera did "not miss a single game during treatment." When it was first announced that Rivera had been "diagnosed with squammous cell carcinoma, his cancer was framed as being caught early enough that it was very treatable" (247SPORTS.com, 10/26). Rivera was greeted by staff from the Inova Schar Cancer Institute on his way to ringing the bell. Staff members were wearing Rivera Strong T-shirts from Adidas (THE DAILY).

NAMES: Bucks Senior VP ALEX LASRY is a name "already circulating" as a possible candidate to replace U.S. Sen. RON JOHNSON (R-Wis.), as Democratic opposition is "already lining up" to run for the seat two years from now. Lasry served as the Democratic National Convention Host Committee Finance Chair. Lasry "could quickly mount a formidable, well-funded campaign" (POLITICO.com, 10/26)....SHAQUILLE O'NEAL is "set to star" in a new animated kids series, "SHAQ'S GARAGE." The action adventure series will "portray the secret adventures of O'Neal's collection of animated cars and trucks, with each having unique skills like musical stylings, Shaq Fu and their mastery of the ultra-secret language of Shaqanese and the Shaqtionary." The show is "set to debut in early 2022 on the new free digital Kartoon Channel!"
