Allegiant Stadium Could Have Underground People-Mover Station

Elon Musk's Boring Co. is "looking to extend its underground people-mover project from the north end of the Las Vegas Strip to Allegiant Stadium," according to Mick Akers of the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL. The project is "included on Thursday's agenda for the Las Vegas Stadium Authority, which will be asked to approve a land use application for a potential station at the stadium." The stadium is "owned by the stadium authority, so the Raiders can't approve the land use deal." But Las Vegas Stadium COO Don Webb "submitted a letter of support toward the project." Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority President & CEO Steve Hill previously said that the extension of the Boring Co. tunnels to the stadium "could be complete ahead of the start of the 2021 NFL season" (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 10/13).
