Bubba Wallace Adds Kingsford Charcoal To List Of New Sponsors
No matter what’s under the hood, I need premium fuel for peak performance. Fired up to partner with @kingsford and bring the smoke with Kingsford’s Hardwood Pellets. The best and boldest flavor in BBQ. #KingsfordPartner pic.twitter.com/zEpq1XnJAb— Bubba Wallace (@BubbaWallace) September 3, 2020
NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace has added another new sponsorship, this time a personal-services agreement with Kingsford charcoal. Wallace announced the deal this morning on his social media pages, and terms were unclear. However, in the middle of the pandemic that has slowed ad spending, this adds to an impressive haul by Wallace, who in less than two months also has announced deals with Beats By Dre, Cash App, DoorDash, Columbia Sportswear. Beats and Kingsford are just PSAs, while the other three also have a relationship with Richard Petty Motorsports to sponsor its No. 43 Chevy driven by Wallace, who is in the middle of negotiations to see if he will renew with RPM next year. Sources say that his new team sponsorships are expected to appreciate significantly next year and that Wallace is expected to get a big pay raise wherever he lands. Wallace is represented by ProSport Management, which landed the deal with Kingsford. Wallace is in the midst of a career-best season on the track and has also received major mainstream attention this summer amid his work with NASCAR’s Confederate flag ban.
