IMG Signs Teenage Tennis Prodigy Robin Montgomery

Montgomery is seen as a rising star, and the USTA has awarded her a wild card for the U.S. OpenFILA

IMG has signed 15-year-old tennis prodigy and Orange Bowl champion Robin Montgomery for representation in all areas, including marketing and sponsorship. Agents Jill Smoller, Carlos Fleming and Caroline Ebner will represent Montgomery, who is currently the No. 5-ranked junior. This is her first agency. Montgomery is seen as a rising star after she won the Orange Bowl last December and followed that up with a winning a pro event in Las Vegas in March before the sport closed down due to the pandemic. The USTA earlier this month awarded Montgomery a wild card for this year's U.S. Open. IMG is part of WME Sports and her new agents will explore other opportunities, beyond traditional tennis endorsements, including non-scripted TV, digital, literary, and speaking. Montgomery was a USTA Foundation essay winner and received the Fila REACH Award in '17 for her philanthropy.
