Kraken Sign Deal With Local Financial Data Company PitchBook

The Kraken and Oak View Group have signed a "new partnership with the Seattle-based financial data provider, PitchBook," according to Carol Schram of FORBES. The deal includes naming rights to Climate Pledge Arena's suite level, which "will be called The PitchBook Suites." PitchBook also will become the Kraken's "exclusive financial data provider." A partnership of this nature is "brand new for PitchBook." PitchBook Founder & CEO John Gabbert said, "We had some conversations with the team there at the arena -- Seattle Hockey, now Kraken. Just hearing the story, and that connection to Seattle. ... We're like, 'We can rally behind this.'" Schram noted PitchBook's data will be "available to personnel" from the Kraken and OVG (FORBES.com, 8/6). Sportfive negotiated the deal on behalf of PitchBook (THE DAILY).
