Greg Olsen's New Podcast Helping Blue Wire Expand Offerings

Seahawks TE Greg Olsen is "adding podcasting to his resume," recording a "seven-episode series called 'TE1' with Blue Wire, a sports podcast company, featuring long-form interviews with some of football’s greatest tight ends," according to Ben Strauss of the WASHINGTON POST. The episodes "last around an hour each and cover the lives and careers of the interview subjects." The podcasts are "expected to be available in July or August." For Blue Wire, which has raised more than $1M in venture capital funding, the project "represents an expansion of its growing network and its first foray beyond the more traditional talk format." The network consists of "around 100 podcasts, mostly covering teams with shows hosted by local sportswriters and influencers" (WASHINGTON POST, 6/27).
