Executive Transactions

ED KIERNAN has left his position as Chief Commercial Officer of the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village, the mixed-use development partially controlled by the Pro Football HOF in Canton, Ohio. Kiernan was '14 SBJ "Forty Under 40" honoree. The village on Monday named former NBA G League Canton Charge President MICHAEL LEVY President of Operations. Meanwhile, a trio of former Canton Repository newspaper execs joined the Pro Football HOF earlier this year. JIM PORTER joined the HOF as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer; RICH DESROSIERS joined as VP/Communications & PR; and JENNIFER GRISEZ joined the HOF in the same title (Ben Fischer, THE DAILY).

ANOTHER ADDITION: The Pistons have hired industry veteran MIKE ZAVODSKY as Chief Business Officer. Zavodsky previously was Roc Nation President of Sports & Events Sales. He will begin his new job on July 1 and will report to Pistons Vice Chair ARN TELLEM. Prior to Roc Nation, Zavodsky, a '16 SBJ "Forty Under 40" winner, spent 14 years at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment before leaving as Chief Revenue Officer. Turnkey Search handled the placement for the Pistons (John Lombardo, THE DAILY).
