PGA Tour Organizers Strike Joint Venture To Oversee Four Events

PGA Tour Honda Classic Exec Dir KEN KENNERLY's company, K2 Sports Ventures, "recently entered a joint venture" with 3M Open Exec Dir HOLLIS CAVNER’s company, Pro Links Sports, to form a new entity called "Pro Links K2 Sports Ventures," according to Craig Dolch of the PALM BEACH POST. Kennerly will "continue to run the Honda Classic, but will also assist Cavner with Pro Links Sports, which operates three PGA Tour events" in total. He has "run the Honda Classic since it moved to PGA National Resort & Spa" in '07. Kennerly started K2 Sports Ventures in '16, three years after selling his previous company, IGP Sports & Entertainment, to IMG Worldwide (now Endeavor). Cavner started Pro Links Sports in '93 (PALM BEACH POST, 5/7).
