NFL Panthers Hope To Help PSL Owners With Payment Due Dates

An email went out to PSL owners expressing that the team would not be moving back any deadlinesGETTY IMAGES

The NFL Panthers have not made any official changes to season-ticket payment plans, but they are "hoping to work with PSL owners about when payments are due," according to Alaina Getzenberg of the CHARLOTTE OBSERVER. An email went out to PSL owners Monday evening "expressing that the team would not be moving back any deadlines." But the team "will be flexible" on individual payment plans. The Panthers in a statement said, "We are working with our PSL holders on a case-by-case basis." Getzenberg notes many PSL owners' season-ticket payment plans run March-August with payments due on the first of each month, but traditionally the team "does not reach out unless there is no payment at all by May 1." A source said that the team "will not be changing the official due date," but "action won't be directly taken against PSL owners if payments aren't in" by today. The source added that "fewer than 50 PSL owners" had "deferred payments" as of yesterday morning. But Getzenberg notes that number is "expected to increase." Meanwhile, the ticketing staff, "still dealing with the fallout of uprooting some PSL owners due to Bank of America Stadium renovations," is "focusing entirely on their current customers rather than new sales" (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 4/1).
