Basketball HOF Says Michigan-Kentucky London Game Is A Go

The Basketball HOF said that the Michigan-Kentucky game in London on Dec. 6 is "still a go as of now," according to James Hawkins of the DETROIT NEWS. The statement made by the Basketball HOF, which is hosting the overseas event, comes one week after Kentucky coach John Calipari "told reporters the international affair was 'up in the air' and hinted at the possibility of the game taking place closer to home." A Michigan spokesperson said that the program "hasn't had any discussion about postponing or canceling the game." The London contest is "part of a three-game series that includes a home-and-home the following two seasons" (DETROIT NEWS, 4/1).
