THE UNDEFEATED's Mordecai Lyon noted the NFL yesterday launched a PSA "focusing on the murder of 26-year-old Botham Jean," who was killed in his apartment by a Dallas police officer on Sept. 6, 2018. The PSA is the "third to come out of The Responsibility Program, a platform created by the NFL and Roc Nation" in '19 with the "intention of creating awareness about social injustices devastating communities across the nation and the importance of working together to facilitate change" (THEUNDEFEATED.com, 1/22).

THE LATEST FASHION TREND: The Boston Globe's Bob Ryan called the NBA's new partnership with Louis Vuitton a "very big plus" for the league. League officials are "marrying themselves to the single-biggest name" in the fashion world. ESPN's Sarah Spain added it is a "collaboration with something that's very in" ("Around The Horn," ESPN, 1/22).

STICK TALK: The Coyotes will sponsor golfer Hudson Swafford during next week's PGA Tour Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale. Swafford will wear a hat with Coyotes branding throughout the tournament, and will have Coyotes-themed headcovers on several of his clubs. He also will toss Coyotes items into the crowd on the course's famed 16th hole. The Coyotes previously sponsored golfer Jeff Quinney in '08 (Coyotes).
