TOM BRADY's lifestyle brand TB12 has "acquired VitalFit Nutrition," a startup founded in '17 that "sells plant-based fitness recovery products." No financial terms were disclosed. As part of the deal, VitalFit co-Founders ALFRED SCHOFIELD and CAMERON FISCHER will "join TB12's product innovation team and continue building VitalFit products under the brand's umbrella" (AMERICANINNO.com, 1/16).

USPS will dedicate Palmer's stamp in MarchUSPS

NAMES: The Pro Football Writers of America named 49ers GM JOHN LYNCH the Executive of the Year. Lynch became the third 49ers GM to "claim the award," joining CARMEN POLICY in '94 and TRENT BAALKE in '11 (SACRAMENTO BEE, 1/17)....Colts CB PIERRE DESIR was at Northview Elementary in Jennings, Miss., on Thursday to "introduce Samaritan's Feet, a program he's become an ambassador for after discovering it" through the Colts. The nonprofit program has "given away more than 7 million pairs of shoes in 108 countries" since being founded in '03. Desir funded the donation of 576 pairs for the students of Northview (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 1/17)....The U.S. Postal Service will "dedicate a stamp honoring ARNOLD PALMER," with a dedication ceremony to be held at the Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by Mastercard on March 2. The ceremony will be "open to ticketholders" (WINSTON-SALEM JOURNAL, 1/17).
