NFL Team Sponsors Gearing Up For Divisional Round Games
Marketing activation plans are being finalized for the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs this weekend. The 49ers on Saturday afternoon host the Vikings for their first playoff game at Levi's Stadium, with SAP as the team’s presenting sponsor for the duration of their time in the playoffs. A red “Faithful Then, Faithful Now” rally towel given to all fans at Levi’s Stadium will include branding from the software company, as well as associate playoff sponsors Levi’s, United Airlines and Zenni Optical. The Ravens host the Titans in primetime that night, with Under Armour serving as the game’s presenting sponsor. The Ravens are giving fans in attendance flags emblazoned with the team logo and an “Every Decibel Counts” credo. Trent Dilfer, who quarterbacked the Super Bowl XXXV champion Ravens, will be honored, and O.A.R. will perform at halftime. On Sunday afternoon, the Chiefs are staging a fan giveaway as they host the Texans. Red “Chiefs Kingdom” flags will carry logos from playoffs presenting sponsors Hy-Vee grocers and the CommunityAmerica Credit Union. A seven-foot bobblehead of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is touring local Hy-Vees to hype fan interest and social media excitement. The Packers host the Seahawks Sunday evening at Lambeau Field, where fans will receive “The Pack Is Back” rally towels that bear the logos of the team’s three presenting playoff sponsors: convenience store chain Cenex, grocer Festival Foods, and the Oneida Indian Nation Casino. Those sponsors also will get in-stadium ad inventory.
