In S.F., Rusty Simmons notes Microsoft over Wild Card weekend unveiled a spot for its Surface Pro 7 titled, "Your Dream is Coming," featuring 49ers offensive assistant Katie Sowers. The "stirring commercial" begins with Sowers "reading a childhood note about wanting 'to be on a real football team' and follows her all the way to the 49ers' practice field." Sowers in '17 became the second woman to be hired to a full-time coaching position with an NFL team when she joined the 49ers. She was promoted to offensive assistant this season (S.F.
