Golden Knights Get Naming-Rights Partner For Community Arena

The Golden Knights said that their future community ice arena in Henderson, Nev., will be "named Lifeguard Arena," according to Blake Apgar of the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL. Henderson-based BT Supplies West "signed a long-term agreement" with the Golden Knights, and in the coming months, the company and affiliate L&M Foodservice will "rebrand as Lifeguard Industrial and Home Supplies." That company will be the "exclusive supplier for paper goods and janitorial supplies and equipment to the team." Plans for the new arena, expected to open next year, call for it to "host tournaments, youth camps and lessons." The Golden Knights said that it will "not serve as a second practice arena" for the team (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 11/21).
