Coca-Cola Becomes Official Partner Of Flyers, Wells Fargo Center

The Flyers and Wells Fargo Center have "signed an exclusive multiyear partnership" with Coca-Cola, which will become the official beverage partner of the team and arena, according to John George of the PHILADELPHIA BUSINESS JOURNAL. Coca-Cola now is also the official beverage partner at Lincoln Financial Field and Citizens Bank Park. The new deal for Wells Fargo Center "covers not just carbonated soft drinks but also water, juices, teas, and sports drinks." Coca-Cola will also be the title sponsor for the soon-to-be-launched Wells Fargo Center "Big Ticket Giveaway," where one fan will "win tickets to all regular season Flyers home games and each concert or special event at the arena for a calendar year." The partnership will "feature co-branded programs in and around the arena and at retail locations throughout the Philadelphia region, and include digital signs inside and outside the arena." The deal also has a social media presence, with Coca-Cola "becoming the presenting partner of Flyers goals on Twitter." Coca-Cola "joins Rush Street Interactive and Rivers Casino, PetSmart and Jagermeister as new marketing partners" for the Flyers and Wells Fargo Center this season. Terms of the deal were not disclosed (BIZJOURNALS.com, 11/19).
