Buyers & Sellers: Arthur Blank Buys Montana Ranch For Foundation

Falcons Owner ARTHUR BLANK has purchased a 9,300-acre property between Livingston, Mont., and an entrance to Yellowstone Park for an undisclosed amount. Dubbed the Paradise Valley Ranch, the property will "serve as an additional platform for the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation's philanthropic work in Montana" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 11/14).

CALIFORNIA LIVING: Nevada basketball coach STEVE ALFORD has sold his home in Calabasas, Calif., for $2.6M. The Mediterranean-style residence has six bedrooms and more than 7,200 square feet of living space and sits on more than half an acre complete with a "swimming pool, turf lawns and a putting green." There is also a basketball half-court "emblazoned with the UCLA logo" (L.A. TIMES, 11/9)....Former NBAer METTA WORLD PEACE has purchased a home in Encino, Calif., for $2.01M. Built in '06, the Tuscan-style house features a two-story entry, six bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and nearly 5,400 square feet of living space on two stories. Outside, "tall hedges surround" a paver patio, lawn and swimming pool (L.A. TIMES, 11/9).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Clippers coach DOC RIVERS has relisted his Hollywood Hills home for $11.25M, down from about $12M earlier this year. The home has three bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in a single-story floor plan. Outside, grounds "designed for year-round entertaining" feature a swimming pool, spa, mounted TVs, multiple fire features and a wraparound barbecue/bar. A guest suite and a sauna "lie beneath the patio and are reached by floating glass staircase" (L.A. TIMES, 11/8)....Lakers C JAVALE MCGEE has reduced the price of his Encino mansion from $3.3M to $3M. The 6,263-square-foot, six-bedroom, nine-bath house "oozes home entertainment" with indoor and outdoor bars, a recording studio, movie theater and pool, among many other amenities. McGee bought the home in '15 for $2.425M (San Jose MERCURY NEWS, 11/13)....Bills RB FRANK GORE is selling his Miami-area home for $1.8M. The 7,816-square-foot house has five bedrooms and six bathrooms with amenities including a half basketball court, pool, home theater, and rec room with a billiards table and bar (BIZJOURNALS.com, 11/14).
