ON THE MOUND: A source said that DEREK FALVEY and THAD LEVINE have "signed new deals" with the Twins that will "keep them under contract" through '24. Falvey will have his "title changed" from Chief Baseball Officer to President of Baseball Operations. Levine will remain the GM in what has been a "leadership tandem since the two were hired" after the '16 season. The pair "already were under contract" through '21, but the new deals "begin immediately" (ST. EXECS: Capture Sports Marketing named Tribune Publishing Dir of Sports Marketing & Cause Marketing Revenue TOM BAYLERIAN VP/Partnerships (Capture Sports Marketing)....Spectra's company-wide employee resource group Spectra Women's Network named VP/Client Experience & Ticketing JACQUE HOLOWATY Exec Champion. Spectra Senior VP/HR WILLIAM HUGHSTON, who joined the company in August, launched the network (Spectra)....Former NHLer ROBERTO LUONGO has "agreed to become" a Special Adviser to Panthers GM DAVE TALLON. Luongo has been a "fixture at games with the Florida front-office brain trust this season" (AP, 11/13)....California Horse Racing Board Vice Chair MADELINE AUERBACH on Monday "resigned from the board" amid calls from California Gov. GAVIN NEWSOM to "eliminate conflicts of interest from the panel." Auerbach, a "prominent California thoroughbred owner and breeder, was appointed to the CHRB" in '14 (L.A. TIMES, 11/14).
