Several XFL Teams Announce Affordable Season-Ticket Prices

L.A. will get a "new pro football team next year" in the XFL Wildcats, who will be "banking on affordability attracting new fans in a crowded marketplace with two NFL teams," according to Arash Markazi of the L.A. TIMES. The Wildcats today will announce that they are "offering season tickets for as low as $100 for a five-game home schedule." Over half of Dignity Health Sports Park will "feature season tickets for $30 or less per game and Wildcats season-ticket packages will range from $100 to $425 per seat." The team also will "announce that all fans who purchase season tickets will receive a VIP field pass for one Wildcats game, allowing fans access to the playing field during pregame or postgame activities" (L.A. TIMES, 10/8).

The XFL's other seven franchises today also announced details of its season-ticket packages for the upcoming season.

  • Season tickets for the N.Y. Guardians will "start as low as $25 per game at MetLife Stadium." A Guardians spokesperson said that "nearly 60% of the team's seats cost $50 or less, and nearly half cost $35 or less" (ROI-NJ.com, 10/8).
  • More than 70% of the season-ticket prices for the Seattle Dragons upcoming season at CenturyLink Field will be $45 or less per game, with 27% going for $25 or less. Season tickets with "access to the Delta Club Lounge begin at $45 per game." Among the perks with those tickets are "covered seats" (SEATTLE TIMES, 10/8).
  • The Tampa Bay Vipers season-ticket packages for its schedule at Raymond James Stadium will "cost as low as $100 per seat and as much as $450 per seat." The Vipers said that about 80% of the team's season tickets will "cost $50 or less per game" (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 10/8).
  • The Dallas Renegades' season-ticket packages for its home games at Globe Life Park start at $20 per game. Season-ticket packages range from $100 to $400 per seat for five home games (Renegades).
  • The St. Louis BattleHawks will play all five home games at The Dome at America's Center and lower level season tickets start at $20 per game. BattleHawks season-ticket packages range from $100 to $450 per seat for five home games (BattleHawks).
  • DC Defenders home games will be played at Audi Field and lower level season tickets start at $20 per game. For fans who would like to enhance their gameday experience with Club Level access, packages start at $450 (Defenders).
  • The Houston Roughnecks will play games at TDECU Stadium and season-ticket packages will range from $100 to $450 per seat with lower level season tickets starting at $20 per game (Roughnecks).
