Avocados From Mexico To Air Super Bowl Spot For Sixth Straight Year

Avocados From Mexico will be "back with its sixth consecutive Super Bowl commercial" in '20, according to Jessica Wohl of AD AGE. The avocado marketer has "seen increased brand awareness since airing its first Super Bowl commercial" in '15, and running a spot during the game has become a "major part of its marketing strategy." The brand "has not said" what the theme of its Super Bowl LIV ad will be, but if past work is any indicator, it will "likely feature a celebrity in a humorous plot." AFM President & CEO Alvaro Luque said that the marketer has "seen more than 27 billion brand impressions from the past five Super Bowl campaigns" (ADAGE.com, 10/5).
