DAZN Using Food Truck To Promote Fall Fight Schedule Around L.A.

The truck will distribute themed tacos and soft drinks, along with DAZN-branded cups and KooziesDAZN

DAZN is launching its fall boxing calendar this weekend, and the streaming service is supporting it with some grass-roots marketing in the form of a food truck that will carry its positioning message of “It's Fight Season” to consumers in and around L.A. ‘“Our idea is to go where the fans are and really dimensionalize our message,” said DAZN Senior VP/Marketing for North America Rob Stecklow. He added that he expects the mobile marketing ploy to continue on to other large Hispanic markets. The truck will distribute themed tacos, burritos, rice bowls and soft drinks, along with DAZN-branded cups and Koozies. Some athlete appearances also are expected. DAZN is hoping to sign up subscribers on site to its annual $100 subscriptions. DAZN’s fight schedule begins Saturday with the Gennady Golovkin-Sergiy Derevyanchenko fight. Agency MKTG is handling the activation for DAZN.
