Aaron Rodgers, Colin Jost Back Together For New Izod Ads
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and "SNL" cast member Colin Jost are "back together this season for a new round of Izod ads," according to Kendra Meinert of the GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE. The pair are "promoting Izod rugby shirts at Kohl's in ads made to look like they're on set and between shoots." In one spot, Rodgers is "checking his phone when Jost begins to whistle a ridiculous tune he says is his idea for the next theme song for football, prompting Rodgers to ask him to stop it." When Jost "doesn't, Rodgers calls his agent to ask that he get out of the deal, because he can't work with Jost." Izod also released another spot in which Jost is "having trouble getting in contact with Rodgers when they're not on set together." Rodgers and Jost "first teamed up for Izod last season in a spot ... that poked fun at some of the more cliched moments in menswear advertising" (GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE, 10/2).
