Film Company DreamHouse To Sponsor New Mexico Bowl
Albuquerque-based DreamHouse, a “multi-faceted business centered around” New Mexico’s film industry, has signed a four-year deal to title sponsor the New Mexico Bowl, according to Ken Sickenger of the ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL. Financial terms of the deal were not revealed. A new logo for the DreamHouse New Mexico Bowl features an image of the state “over a football topped by a movie slate.” It also includes a “Zia symbol along with a mountain panorama.” Clothing manufacturer Gildan had title sponsored the game the previous seven years, but bowl game Exec Dir Jeff Siembieda said that “personnel changes” resulted in the company not maintaining its agreement. The game, which is run by ESPN Events, has tie-ins with the Mountain West Conference and Conference USA (ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL, 10/2). Bowl officials said that the deal with DreamHouse is “in line with the state becoming a player in the film industry” (BIZJOURNALS.com, 10/2).
