Buyers & Sellers: NHL Kings Coach Buys Manhattan Beach Home

NHL Kings coach TODD MCLELLAN has purchased a home in Manhattan Beach, Calif., for a "little over" $6.77M. The newly built house has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and more than 6,300 square feet of space. Interior details include "wide-plank bleached wood floors, atrium skylights and custom millwork." An elevator also "services each floor" (L.A. TIMES, 9/25).

COACH'S CORNER: Lakers coach FRANK VOGEL has purchased a home in the Tree Section of Manhattan Beach in an "off-market deal" for $5.35M. The newly built house has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and nearly 4,900 square feet of living space. An elevator "serves each floor." Patios and balconies "create additional living space outdoors" (L.A. TIMES, 9/20)....Univ. of Memphis men's basketball coach PENNY HARDAWAY has purchased a new home near Memphis Country Club for $4.25M. Hardaway bought the home from former Univ. of Memphis President and current trustee R. BRAD MARTIN. The home is more than 10,000 square feet and sits on 4.21 acres. It also has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and four half-bathrooms (Memphis COMMERCIAL APPEAL, 9/19)....Blackhawks coach JEREMY COLLITON has purchased a home in Lakeview, Ill., for $1.63M. The two-story, 3,962-square-foot house has four bedrooms and 4.5 baths (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 9/23).

HIGH ROLLERS: Stars RW COREY PERRY is selling his home in Corona del Mar, Calif., for $6.725M. The 5,400-square-foot house has four bedrooms and includes a "rooftop deck with ocean views." Outside, an "air-conditioned covered patio adds an outdoor living and dining area" (L.A. TIMES, 9/23)....LINDSEY VONN has listed her five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom mountain estate in Vail for $6M. The 7,000-square-foot home has a "fitness room with a full bath, an elevator, a sound system wired to play in every room," and a kitchen with a center island that opens to the dining room (Colorado Springs GAZETTE, 9/25)....Baseball HOFer MIKE PIAZZA bought a three-bedroom condo at The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach for $5.6M. The 3,838-square-foot residence "offers views of Surprise Lake and Biscayne Bay" and includes three and a half baths (South Florida SUN SENTINEL, 9/26)....Boxer SERGEY KOVALEV is selling his home in Newport Beach for $3.6M. The 4,200-square-foot house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms (L.A. TIMES, 9/24).

GRIDIRON HOMES: Texans WR KENNY STILLS has "landed a buyer" for his 2,551-square-foot residence in San Marcos, Calif., and is selling his home for $830,000. The four-bedroom home features a "patio dining area, lawn, a wet bar and a fire pit sit at the rear of the house" (L.A. TIMES, 9/24)....Packers WR DAVANTE ADAMS has listed his 3,000-square-foot condo in De Pere, Wis., for $239,000. Adams bought the home, which includes 1,000 square feet of "finished space on the lower level," from Cowboys WR RANDALL COBB in '15 for $206,950 (GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE, 9/19).
