PRO FOOTBALL TALK's Mike Florio cited a source as saying that Raiders WR Antonio Brown "must find a new helmet model" after losing his second grievance with the NFL, now that he "can not wear the Schutt AiR Advantage." Brown will "accept the decision and move forward in a new helmet." He has "narrowed his options, after hearing from multiple companies that wanted to customize a helmet, and that want to pay him to wear it" in the form of an endorsement deal (PROFOOTBALLTALK.com, 8/25).

BLACK TIE AFFAIR: Roger Federer "spent part of the last year collaborating with a design team headed by Christophe Lemaire" on his outfit choices for the U.S. Open, which begins today. For U.S. Open night play, Federer will "wear black shorts and a white-banded Henley said to have been inspired by a tuxedo." Federer over the weekend met with "both fans and corporate sponsors at a Uniqlo meet and greet" at the company's flagship store on Fifth Avenue (N.Y. TIMES, 8/25).

IT'S BO TIME! Charlotte-based fast food chain Bojangles is expanding its tailgating Big Bo Box offering to include a commemorative 25th season-themed box for the NFL Panthers. Bojangles also will offer themed Big Bo Boxes for nine other football teams across the south, including the Titans, as well as college teams Clemson, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina, among others (Bojangles).
