The Sounders named PETER TOMOZAWA President of Business Operations and the 12th member of the new ownership group alongside his wife, DONNA LEDUC. Tomozawa's executive position "mirrors the Sounders' leadership format on the soccer side" with GM & President of Soccer GARTH LAGERWEY, as both will report to Sounders Owner ADRIAN HANAUER. Tomozawa most recently served as VP & Exec Dir of Partnerships & Board Relations for L.A.'s '28 Games bid (SEATTLE TIMES, 8/21).

EXECS: Big Ten Network named NBCUniversal VP/Network & Digital Sales JACK BROWN VP/Advertising Sales (BTN)....The Professional Women's Hockey Players' Association hired Hockey HOFer JAYNA HEFFORD to "oversee its daily operations." Hefford succeeds BRYAN HICKS. Her duties will include "generating revenue and attracting sponsors." Hefford was CWHL interim Commissioner "before it ceased operations this spring" (AP, 8/21)....Univ. of Denver AD RON GRAHAME announced his retirement, effective Sept. 1 (DU).
