Michigan Sells Most Football Season Tickets In Jim Harbaugh Era

Michigan has sold 91,934 season tickets for this football season, and that figure is the "highest in the Jim Harbaugh era and most sold" since '07, according to Aaron McMann of MLIVE.com. The total consists of 71,578 "regular, full-priced season tickets and 20,356 student season tickets." Michigan reported 91,126 season tickets sold in '17, the "previous high" under Harbaugh. This season marks the "second time Michigan has topped the 90,000 mark" since Harbaugh was named coach in December '14. The school said that 83% of the 877 "new requests" for '19 season tickets were "offered the ability to purchase season tickets." While the "year-to-year fluctuation of season ticket sales is nearly impossible to pinpoint," school officials typically "point to the favorable home schedules during odd-ending years." Michigan's '19 home schedule includes Notre Dame, Michigan State and Ohio State (MLIVE.com, 8/21).
