Buyers & Sellers: Tom Brady's $39M Home Outside Boston Up For Sale

TOM BRADY and GISELLE BUNDCHEN are selling their home in Brookline, Mass., for $39.5M. The 9,716-square-foot mansion, complete with a pool, was built in '15 and "features a kids playroom, wine room, gym, spa, and 'organic vegetable/herb garden.'" In addition to a "three-car garage, the property includes a detached 'barn-inspired' guest house that has its own yoga studio and walls that open up to 'provide a Zen-like experience'" (BOSTON GLOBE, 8/6).

PIGSKIN LIFE: Steelers QB BEN ROETHLISBERGER is selling his home in Hampton, Penn., for $2.295M, which is $400,000 less than his initial asking price. Roethlisberger bought the eight-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in '06 for $2.22M (PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE, 8/5)....Pro Football HOFer LARRY ALLEN has "trimmed the price for the third time" on his Bay Area home to $5.8M, after originally listing it last year for $7.5M. The current asking price is around $1.2M "more than he paid for it" in '04. The 1.5-acre estate "boasts an expansive house of over 10,000 square feet and a palm-topped backyard with a brick patio, swimming pool, spa and basketball court surrounded by lawn" (L.A. TIMES, 8/2)....Former NFLer HINES WARD has sold his 15,878-square-foot home in Atlanta for $3.75M. Ward purchased the 2-acre property in '06 for $1.025M. The home includes "eight bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and five half-baths, two-story foyer, cathedral ceilings, fireplaces, a breakfast room, eat-in kitchen with island." The grounds include "cascading waterfalls, a heated in-ground saltwater swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and bar, candle-lit grotto, cabana and basketball court" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 8/2).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Former MLBer MILTON BRADLEY has listed his home in Encino, Calif., for $3.799M. The 7,500-square-foot, six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home includes a "formal dining room features coffered ceilings, and a media room has a wood-paneled wet bar." The upstairs master suite "comprises dual closets, a fireplace and a spa-like bathroom with a steam shower" (L.A. TIMES, 8/5)....Red Sox RF MOOKIE BETTS is "building his new home" on 20,000 square feet of property in Franklin, Tenn. Total construction costs will be $4.5M (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 8/1)....Lakers C JAVALE MCGEE has put his home in Encino on the market for $3.3M. The two-story home includes 6,263 square feet of "indoor-outdoor living spaces, as well as a movie theater, recording studio and wet bar." The "resort-like backyard" sits under "palm trees and hanging lights next to a swimming pool" (L.A. TIMES, 8/2....NBA free agent ZACH RANDOLPH purchased a brand new mansion in Encino for $5.195M. The 8,200-square-foot home includes a "swimming pool, a cabana with a bathroom, a fire pit lounge, an outdoor kitchen, an herb garden and a basketball court" (L.A. TIMES, 8/5).
