Buyers & Sellers: Stephen Ross Lists N.Y. Penthouse For $75M

Dolphins Owner STEPHEN ROSS is listing his penthouse on the southwest corner of N.Y.'s Central Park for $75M. The five-bedroom, approximately 8,500-square-foot apartment, "sits atop the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle." The design of the condo is "modern, with African bubinga wood floors and an entryway featuring various types of inlaid stone." The master suite has "two marble bathrooms and two dressing rooms." Ross and his wife are "moving to Hudson Yards" on Manhattan's West Side (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 7/19).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Hockey HOFer SCOTT NIEDERMAYER sold his 5,600-square-foot home in Newport Beach, Calif., for $5.393M. The estate is located within the "guard-gated Belcourt community" and "fits a two-story home, swimming pool, spa, putting green, cabanas, gazebo and tennis court into half an acre" (L.A. TIMES, 7/17)....NBA free agent G ARRON AFFLALO has sold his Las Vegas estate for $3.469M. Amenities within the 11,433-square-foot interior include a "movie theater with tiered seating, a billiards room with a wet bar, and an office." There are five bedrooms and seven bathrooms in total "across two stories" (L.A. TIMES, 7/16)....USMNT coach GREGG BERHALTER paid $2.61M for a "newly built, six-bedroom, 6,372-square-foot contemporary-style mansion" in Lakeview, Ill. (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 7/11)....Suns C DEANDRE AYTON bought a $2.15M home in Paradise Valley, Ariz. The nearly 6,100-square-foot home comes with "five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a gym, big stone backyard landscaping and a steel pool feature" (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 7/17)....Red Wings Exec VP & GM STEVE YZERMAN listed his 3,316-square-foot condo in Tampa for $1.695M. The condo has "three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a study and two covered terraces" (DETROIT NEWS, 7/12)....Basketball HOFer BOB KNIGHT bought a home just three miles from Indiana's Assembly Hall in Bloomington. Knight bought the 4,840-square-foot home for $572,000 (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 7/12).
