Browns' Resale Prices Skyrocket As Team's Demand Increases

Browns' average resale ticket prices are currently 14th in the NFL, after ranking 31st last seasonGETTY IMAGES

Demand for the Browns is at its "highest point in decades," and the "average resale price of Browns tickets on SeatGeek has nearly doubled" from $121 in '18 to $225 in '19, according to Kevin Kleps of CRAIN'S CLEVELAND BUSINESS. The Browns now have a season-ticket waiting list "in the thousands." As of yesterday morning, the only remaining supply of single-game listings are "verified resale seats, which would mean the Browns are already at sellout status." Last season, the Browns' resale average "ranked 31st in the NFL." Thus far in '19, the team "checks in at No. 14." SeatGeek said that Browns games against the Titans, Rams, Steelers and Seahawks are "producing the highest resale prices since it started monitoring the Browns market nine years ago." The other four Browns home games this season are "all producing average sales that are well above" the team's '18 norm of $121. SeatGeek said that the average sales price for Browns road games in '19 is also up 38%, or $67 (CRAIN'S CLEVELAND BUSINESS, 7/16).
